Verminator back in training ground

Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen had his first full time training session after August when he got Achilles injury while on international duty. Arsenal has missed him with chequered performance from two summer signings Squillaci and Koscielny in the first half of the campaign. But emergence of Djorou as first team regular and return of Vermaelen will see Arsene Wenger pairing the two in Gunners' central defence. Wenger had said that central defence is a region where he would like to add someone this month provided that Vermaelen's return is extended. But now it seems that the Belgian can come back as early as the end of January which will help the manager save some money to spend in summer.
